Through, first, a massive overview of God's work accomplished through godly women around the world over centuries, and secondly, a thorough inductive Bible study of the three difficult passages in their original context and language, I have received a sense of peace and joy that a proper understanding of these passages in the light of the whole of Scripture is possible.

The authors humbly address the pain which these controversies have caused women and the sad attack these controversies have brought on God's work of loving our world and longing for ALL humans to be saved and made whole. I found a thorough reading of this book to be deeply encouraging and helpful in understanding three difficult passages of Scripture which have caused endless controversy about 'the role of women' in the church for centuries.
