I will say they are DEFINITELY not suitable to listen to at work hahaha. Overall, great series on audio, will be definitely be listening to the rest while on vacation. I already have listened to some of Book 2 and they definitely improve in that one (so many new voices to hear them do!). They weren't my favorite narrators, I think sometimes it was tough to tell the difference between Rik and Daire, and sometimes Cassandra's tone didn't match the sentiment of the phrase, but overall I would definitely listen to them again. In terms of the narration, I thought both Tristan and Cassandra did a good job. I started on Book 2 on audio already, I also bought Book 3 because I knew I would be in this for the long haul haha. I loved the steam and looooove that Rik and Daire have a relationship (my guilty pleasure is definitely M/M anything haha). Loved that her blood opens them up to their powers and that they can shift into different things.

I liked that she was reluctant with stuff that RiK and Daire suggested, which is how anyone who was raised in the human world would react. I loved the storyline, from seeing Shara grow and develop feelings for her men and also seeing her start the journey into being a vampire Queen. I was super happy I did! I loved this series, its very addicting and I couldn't wait to get back in my car and wasn't too upset to be stuck in extra holiday traffic so I could listen more to Shara and her Blood. I had heard a lot of good things about this series and thought I would try it out on audio since I have had more time getting through books that way with all my traveling for work. Pleasantly surprised by this series and audiobook!
